Szeptember elején félmaratonnal kezdődik az őszi futószezon

Szeptember 4-én rajtol a 26. Nike Budapest Nemzetközi Félmaraton mezőnye. Magyarország legnagyobb félmaratoni futóeseménye egyben a Budapest Sportiroda-BSI őszi futószezonjának első versenye.
A 26. Nike Budapest Nemzetközi Félmaratonon a 21 kilométeres táv egyéniben és párban teljesíthető. Az útvonal a főváros legszebb részeit érinti: a futómezőny elhalad a Világörökség részeként számon tartott Hősök terén és az Andrássy úton, a Lánchídon, illetve futás közben látható lesz a szintén a Világörökség részét képező Budai Vár. Az eseményhez kapcsolódik a 3,5 kilométe res Ligetkör, ami a rövid távokat kedvelő futóknak biztosít indulási lehetőséget.
A BSI őszi szezonjának nyitó eseménye iránt komoly érdeklődés mutatkozik külföldről. Ez idáig a legtöbben Hollandiából, Németországból és Angliából neveztek a versenyre, de hasonlóan magas a szlovák és amerikai nevezők száma. Tavaly öt kontinens 52 országából érkeztek futók a Nike Budapest Nemzetközi Félmaratonra.
- Jelenleg az útvonal véglegesítése folyik – mondta Máth István, a BSI versenyigazgatója. „Augusztusban érkezik Hugh Jones, az AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races – Maratoni és Utcai Futóversenyek Nemzetközi Szövetsége) főtitkára, hogy hitelesítse a pályát, ahogy eddig minden évben tette.

Then she will leave me for sergei a rugged tour guide from Serbia. Oh the tragedy!
